Rock bottom

Just because you are missing a person does not necessary mean they are meant to be in your life. This is something hard for me to understand, but I think I’m finally reaching the point where I’m getting it. Sometimes people are not capable of understanding and forgiving your actions and you simply have to accept that and realize there is nothing you can do. You cannot force a person to care about you the way you care for them. Even when they have things they should apologize for, they may not feel that way. I have too much trouble letting go. There’s a lot of things I wanted to believe and it feels excruciating knowing that I’m not seeing things clearly. I am mortified… never wanted to face this… but I am facing it head-on so I can let it go before any more damage is done. With every ending comes a new beginning. The only place to go from here is up.
