20 questions: interview with myself

I copied these questions from culturevultureexpress! Hope ya don’t mind! 🙂

  1. What is the last book you read?

The last book I finished is “‘You Just Need to Lose Weight’: And 19 Other Myths About Fat People“, I listened to the audiobook version but I still say that counts! It was an interesting book and I enjoyed it a lot, I got through it very quickly.

2. What book are you currently reading?

I’m currently reading “Brides of Rome (Vestal Virgins series)” on my kindle. I’m nearing the end so I’ll be finished with it soon. It’s an AMAZING book and I will absolutely be writing a book review soon!!

3. What colour are your fingernails currently painted?

They’re naked. I usually don’t paint my nails or get them painted unless it’s a special occasion.

4. If you could take part in any TV show what would it be?

One of my favorite shows is Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and it’s also a musical and the cast all has great chemistry together so that would be so fun to guest star in!

5. What is the last poem you read?

Sadly, I can’t remember! I need to read more poetry.

6. What is the last game you played on your phone?

Probably “I Love Hue” which is a puzzle game!

7. What is the last TV show you watched?

Currently watching Love is Blind.

8. What expensive item of clothing do you desire?

I would love to own like a Victorian or Medieval style dress, like a really intricate and authentic one. They are super pricy and I can’t get myself to buy one with my sad amount of money. Maybe if I had an event to wear it to then I’d totally splurge.

9. What films are you looking forward to watching next?

I’m really excited for Wicked to come out! But that won’t be for a long while.

10. Favourite subject at school?

English was always my favorite. Science classes could be fun depending on the subject. I actually enjoyed math a lot too, mainly algebra, but calculus was the worst.

11. Least favourite subject at school?

I never liked history and that was only because school always focused on modern history and it just centered around war, memorizing names and dates. But I am actually super interested in history, mainly ancient history, that centers around the social aspect and people’s daily lives, rather than war and politics.

12. Favourite season?

Autumn for sure!

13. Least favourite season?

I do not like spring! My allergies kick in and I feel extra tired and groggy. The weather is super unpredictable. And it also means that sweatpants season is over and I can’t be cozy anymore!

14. Favourite tea?

I can’t live without black tea! I always start my morning with a hot cup of chai, or english breakfast, or earl grey. But there are so many other teas, like herbal teas, I love too. I’m such a tea girl.

15. First celebrity crush?

Aaron Carter. Rest in peace. I remember listening to his albums when I was in first and second grade. I used to dream about him all the time and fantasize about him singing songs directly to me and being in love with me. Yes, when I was seven-years old. I loved him. It’s such a tragedy what happened to him.

16. Where was the last fast food place you ate at?

Probably Wawa or Starbucks. I think it was Starbucks.

17. Last shop you shopped in?

Does the grocery store count? I do 90% of my shopping online. Maybe Target or Michaels.

18. What do you seek in the world?

I think that I ultimately seek connection and I want everyone to know that we are all connected and to be able to feel that. I don’t want anyone to be lonely in life.

19. Would you change anything about yourself and your life?

If it was in my power, I would change about a million things about myself. I would change a lot of parts of my personality and my looks. But I think that that’d be wrong, that I am who I am for a reason, and that there’s beauty in me both inside and out that I just can’t see. As for my life, yeah I’d love to have an easy life where I don’t have to work, I am a billionaire, I always get what I want, I live on a tropical island and it’s always sunny every day. But again, I think I am where I am for a reason and if I lived a spoiled life then I would never grow as a person, I think my soul would become rotten and it would make me greedy and selfish. I think that our hardships make us better, more ethical, morally righteous people.

20. Resolutions for 2024?

I have SO MANY resolutions. And that’s why I never made a blog post on it because truthfully there are way too many. I want to get healthier, grow in my career, grow in my writing and blogging, experience more and do more, read a lot of books, exercise more. More, more, more. Blah, blah, blah. Keep leveling up.
