Exciting news — I am starting a new job in April. I will still be with the same company, working in the same building, with a majority of the same people. But I will have a new title and different responsibilities. It comes with a slight raise along with better work-life balance because it won’t require weekends or holidays.
Right now I am a “formulations technician” and my new title will be “formulations logistics coordinator.” So I am stepping away from the technical, which is the hands-on laboratory preparations, and moving into the logistical side, which will be inventory management, storage organization, paperwork, emails, and computer stuff (to basically summarize it.)
I’m really excited for these changes to come. A lot of it will be somewhat the same, which is nice. But of course a lot of new stuff too, which I’m definitely nervous about, but it feels almost too good to be true to have this opportunity.
Last weekend, I visited home and Scott and Mariel and their baby Marco, and Julie all came to visit. I haven’t seen Marco since he was one month old, and now he’s about seven months! I love watching him grow and seeing him become a real person, his personality develop and being able to express himself more.
Of course I knew that I was going to love my nephew, but I don’t know if I was prepared to understand how much! I haven’t really been around babies since I was a teenager, so I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect! He is such a bundle of joy and I can see both of his parents in him. I can’t wait to continue watching him grow up, and it’s so precious that as he gets older I will always have these memories of holding him as a little baby.

p.s. I just posted horoscopes for April! Check it out on my Medium blog.
