THRIVE MARKET HAUL

I recently signed up for Thrive Market, which I have been debating joining for a while now. The site offers an extensive amount of healthy foods — organic, non-GMO, dairy-alternatives, keto, paleo, vegan, gluten-free, and other special diets. Their foods (and products) are ethically and sustainably sourced, their packaging is recyclable, and their warehouse isContinue reading “THRIVE MARKET HAUL”

Saturdog ~ Health + Personality ~ Bulldogs, Retrievers, & more…

Today, I’m taking a break from Caturday and making it Saturdog. I’m sorry, cats. Dogs are thought to be descended from wolves, according to scientific evidence. The modern wolf is completely distinct from the modern dog, suggesting their common ancestor must have died out thousands of years ago. It containsContinue reading “I Tried… VEGAN EGGS!”

30-Day Challenge (Know Thyself): Day 12

Day 12:┬áDiet I follow a vegetarian diet, meaning I avoid eating any type of meat or fish. My overall reasoning is that is simply does not appeal to me. The only meat I was ever drawn to as a child was things like chicken nuggets, fish sticks, pepperoni, and bacon. I was never one toContinue reading “30-Day Challenge (Know Thyself): Day 12”

Marilyn Monroe’s Breakfast

I recently came across an article revealing one of Marilyn Monroe’s unusual diets. For breakfast, she would drink warm milk mixed with 2 raw eggs. Afterwards, she supplemented her meal with a multivitamin. Then, she skipped lunch and had meat for dinner with five raw carrots, followed by an indulgent hot fudge sundae for dessert.Continue reading “Marilyn Monroe’s Breakfast”
