I have a new book called “Devotion to Jupiter” coming out soon!

I’m so excited to share that I have been working on writing another novel which will be released this year — between late summer and fall. This is going to be my third novel, however very different from my first two.

First of all, this book will be 18+ and contain some mature content. I’ve had a lot of requests to include this in my next book so I’m giving the people what they want. It has also challenged me as a writer in the best way! It will be as tasteful as possible, but still I ask that you please do not read this if you are uncomfortable with adult themes.

What also makes this novel different is that it’s written in first person, whereas my other two novels are written in third person. This makes the story more personal, vulnerable, and intimate.

The setting takes place in Ancient Rome. I’ve done a lot of research on Ancient Rome to make this as historically accurate as possible. Of course, these are completely made-up characters with unique storylines. While it’s set in ancient times, the story deals with universal themes that everyone can relate to today.

I wanted to focus specifically on religion and what that meant to the Ancient Romans. Jupiter is the Roman god of thunder and lightning, who rules the heavens, and is king of all kings. Other deities such as Venus and Saturn are also included. This is not a mythology retelling, this is about how everyday people worshipped their gods.
