The alarm clock is ringing for a spiritual wakeup call on humanity.

Neptune will be in Aries from approximately 2026 until 2039. Last year, Neptune was in Aries for several months before retrograding backwards – so we did get a little taste of what to expect in the next thirteen years or so.

Before this, Neptune was in the sign of Pisces from approximately 2011 to 2025. Neptune moved forward into Aries in March 2025, remaining there until retrograde, when it went back into Pisces in October 2025.

On January 26th, Neptune will stay in Aries until the year 2038. In that year, we will have a preview of the next sign, Neptune in Taurus, before taking one final dip into Aries through the year 2039.

I wrote about what we can expect to come in the era of Neptune in Aries—also comparing it to the previous age of Neptune in Pisces. Now that we have been given a taste of this in part of 2025, I’ve been able to further understand what this new age will bring.

Neptune – the planet of spirituality

Before understanding what Neptune in Aries will bring, you must understand what the planet itself stands for. Neptune is the planet of spirituality – and also represents dreams, fantasy, and illusion. It symbolizes everything beyond this physical world and what we can see – feelings, intuition, and emotion.

Pisces is ruled by Neptune – which made Neptune in Pisces a harmonious placement. Neptune in Pisces (2011-2025) brought a huge spiritual upgrade in the world. The spread of spiritual practices including meditation, prayer, astrology, tarot, manifestation, yoga, etc. became mainstream. Spirituality became much more accessible.

But every era has its downside. The negative impact of Neptune in Pisces was the blurred line between illusion and reality. Many of us became much more spiritual during this time, but many of us also felt very lost and misguided. With the spread of conspiracies, misinformation, and fake news, it became trickier to understand the truth.

Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac wheel, leading us to Aries, the first. Neptune going into Aries and beginning a new cycle is like a spiritual reset.

Wake-up call for humanity

Think of the zodiac wheel as a clock. From 2011 to 2025, the clock was at 11 PM. And now as Neptune moves into Aries, the clock has struck midnight. In terms of spirituality, we are moving into a new day. And the alarm is going off.

With Neptune in Aries, we are suddenly given a sense of direction. This feeling of confusion and dissociation is coming to an end. There will be more clarity when it comes to the mystical side of life.

Aries is physical; it’s associated with war and battle. This means that we must prepare for spiritual warfare. I do not say that to strike fear, but to urge everyone to be ready. Do not become blindsided by what’s ahead.

There will be a clear line between good and evil. It’s going to become increasingly black and white. And people will do whatever it takes, including resorting to war and violence, in order to fight for their beliefs.

Ultimately, this will be a wakeup call for humanity. It will be a necessary step towards the evolution of our spirit.

The calm before the storm

While it may not seem like it right now, the age of Neptune in Pisces (2011-2025) was a time of peace. Decades from now, we will look back and see this as the calm before the storm. But like I said, it was also a time of confusion. Many of us have been misguided.

So you may ask… how do you prepare for this? Actually, humanity has been preparing for this without even realizing it. The spiritual incubation period from 2011-2025 put all of us through tests that forced us to confront our own deep-rooted beliefs.

This especially applies to those who are older. You may have lived most of your early life skimming the surface of your spirituality. Or maybe you considered yourself very religious or spiritual, but did not realize until the past fifteen years, that life is more mystical than imagined.

Regardless of age, you have been spending these past fifteen years in preparation for spiritual warfare, and you didn’t even know it. You spent all of this time “studying” and “learning lessons” – and for the next decade and beyond, you will be taking the real test.

To get a better idea of what’s to come, I’ve broken this down into bullet points of what to expect for Neptune in Aries (2026 to 2039) as an era of spiritual warfare.

As a final note, this is not meant to provoke fear. This brings potential to make the world a much better place. Avoiding conflict for the sake of peace can be far more detrimental than facing our spiritual challenges head-on. I am optimistic towards the future and that this era may bring spiritual truth and direction, after years of feeling lost and misguided, unsure of exactly what to believe.

I also cannot make promises about whether this era will be beneficial or not. We have a lot of great potential to work with, but the question is that will people dive too far into war and violence that they forget what they are fighting for?
