Sometimes I can get really wrapped up in sadness and let it consume me. But I try to get something positive out of sadness by transforming it into art. I think some of the most beautiful art came from places of sadness. So it can serve a positive purpose.
What gives me the blues is when I really miss someone. It’s hard to miss someone because there is usually not too much you can do about it and it makes you feel very powerless. It also makes you feel completely separated not just from the person but from the entire world.
There’s no reason to leave the house. I open the curtains to see pouring rain, dark clouds, lightning and thunder. It’s late morning, but the stormy weather makes it look like it’s the evening.
