Why?

Why knock on doors that you don’t want opening up?

Why pour yourself a drink if you don’t have an empty cup?

Why test the waters when you’re not wearing a bathing suit?

Why turn up the volume when the speaker is on mute?

Why open a package labeled with someone else’s name?

Why give the conductor a ticket when you’re not taking the train?

Why go for a drive when you can’t spare money for gas?

Why walk around barefoot when the floor has shattered glass?

Why bake in your kitchen when you don’t have any flour?

Why roll around in mud when you just got out of the shower?

Why turn off the music when you’re on the floor with a dancer?

Why ask questions when nobody has any answers?
