DON’T forgive me

Don’t forgive me, even when I say “I’m sorry.”

Why don’t you put me in time-out?

Why don’t you scream and shout?

Why don’t you curse and swear?

I know, cause you’re too tired to care.

Don’t forgive me, especially when I say “I’m not sorry.”

Where is my punishment?

Why let me get away with bad shit?

Can’t you see where my mind goes?

How will I learn, how will I ever grow?

Don’t pretend to forgive me, and then make me sorry.
