You can manifest the life that you want

I realize I’ve been spending the past several years fixated on what I don’t have verses what I do. I also realize that at the same time, I’ve been dismissing visions that are actually more in reach than I imagined.

The first step in achieving what you want is wanting what you already have. There is always someone in life who has it worse than you. Look at the positives.

There are a lot of things you have right now that your past-self wished for. And now you take it for granted. Yet there was a time when you wished for this.

Next, you can make small changes in what you already have to make it feel like more of what you’re reaching for. But it all starts with the right mindset. If you’re always reaching for something, then it will feel like you have never achieved anything.

Also — we have to stop with the phrase “too late.” We always think we’re older than we actually are. While it’s true that we aren’t promised a certain amount of time in life, we cannot live like we are running out of time. That’s a fear-based mindset.

Trust that you have time to make it happen or figure it out. Have faith in divine timing. That doesn’t mean assuming that you have all of the time in the world — just optimistically hoping for it.

Everything in my life either came sooner than expected or later than expected. Nothing ever came at “the perfect time” in my mind. Too early or too late. The universe has its own timeline for us — and it’s rarely what we plan for ourselves.

Being content with where you are in life does not mean giving up on your dreams. It’s just the opposite. You will never reach your dreams until you are happy with where you currently are.

The power of the mind is incredible. We put too much emphasis on our environment or the world around us.

“I just need to move to this new home… I just need to get this new job… I just need to find the right relationship… I just need to change my wardrobe and style… I just need to purchase this new thing… and then I’ll be happy!”

You can still aim for that new home, new job, the right relationship, a total makeover, or whatever it is that you want. It’s not terrible to have those desires. Actually, it’s one of the best parts of life! When you want something and you finally get it, that’s incredible!

However, the key is that you will never get there with the wrong mindset. Either, you won’t achieve it because you held yourself back — instead of setting practical goals and taking action, you convinced yourself that it was unachievable. Or, you do achieve it, but it doesn’t satisfy because you were relying on external circumstances to bring internal joy.

You may have to make some sacrifices in order to get where you want to go. But this is the trade off for making one major sacrifice of giving up on your dreams.

You will get where you want to go. But the key is that first, you need to be happy with where you currently are.
