Wednesday = Wodin’s Day
Wednesday was named after the Germanic god, Wodin – who is connected to the Norse god, Odin. In Roman mythology, this is Mercury.
Mercury is the god of many things – communication, learning, health, and balance. It makes sense that Mercury falls right in the middle of the week, being the god of mediumship and equality. Mercury carries both masculine and feminine energy.
Alongside, Mercury resembles all things alternative, offbeat, and strange. We welcome all of the weirdness on Mercury Day.
