We are expecting a baby!
I am beyond happy to be expecting a baby in late 2026 with my fiancé. This is the greatest blessing that I could ask for. I feel incredibly grateful to be stepping into motherhood and centering my life around this beautiful soul.

On Saturday, my sister Julie threw the most perfect and incredible baby shower. The theme was witchy tea party. We had it at my aunt Nancy’s house and it was a small shower with close family.

There were all kinds of snacks and drinks, a yogurt parfait, and of course some tea! We did a “mini spell jar” craft with herbs, crystals, and candle wax. We took lots of photos with everyone. The guests filled out their predictions for the baby. And I received so many wonderful presents!

My friend Sally crafted this amazing banner! Although she couldn’t be there but I am so appreciative that she took the time to make this for the shower.
My aunt Melanie made a delicious banana cake and chocolate peanut butter cake. Kathryn wrote a very heartfelt “witchcraft recipe” poem. My sister in law Mariel flew in all the way from Chicago. Every single person here made this day so special!

So much thanks to my sister Julie for throwing all of this together and making this such a special event! I will always remember this! She really put in so much detail and care into planning this. I would not have been able to do this for myself.
Somehow, Julie was able to get me the same exact baby book from the ‘90s that my mom used for me when I was born. We were looking through my baby book; on one of the pages, my mom had wrote, “the third baby pushes you over the edge,” hahaha!

I also took home a rocking chair that my Gramp’s built and is still in great shape. The weather was absolutely gorgeous with those lovely fall leaves — especially since we got a nonstop rainstorm the following day.
And my dad came out to PA as well for an appearance! (But the shower itself was ladies only!)

And lastly here are some more pics from over the summer that I have been saving 🙂
