Views dropped in June after many restrictions were lifted, followed by a steady increase the rest of the year (while restrictions came back in the fall) that lead to a final burst in December.

Accomplishments & goals

• I was very excited to publish my first guest writer post! (Guest Writer ~ “Lost Your Business? There Is Hope in the Future”) If you are interested in guest writing for Lotus Laura, please reach out to me. It could be one of my “days of the week” posts, it could be anything related to personal growth or business aspirations, or it could be something completely unique — as long as it’s appropriate and family-friendly! I would be happy to share!
• I received 12 blogger awards this year — after receiving my first and only award in 2019! Thanks to all the awesome bloggers who nominated me! It’s so much fun getting to know each other and promoting one another’s blogs!
• In 2019, I claimed my views had skyrocketed since 2018 — which was actually nothing compared to a 898% increase of views from 2019 to 2020!!! Thank you to everyone who reads my blog! It’s so exciting to know that my voice is heard!
• In 2019, I predicted Top 25 Darkest & Saddest Lana Del Rey songs would “certainly surpass 1,000 views, possibly closer to 2,000 by 2021” Umm… I completely underestimated myself because… it has reached 25,096 views!!! I’m gonna go ahead and shoot for 50k by 2022!
• In 2019, I predicted my entire blog would “reach well over 10,000 views before 2021 and possibly closer to 20,000 views if I’m lucky” which was also way off because I reached 61,274 total views!!! Shooting for 100,000 views by 2022!
• My reasonable goal for followers was 500, and I am now close to 700. By 2022, I hope to reach at least 1,000.
