How it all began…

I started Lotus Laura in 2016 when I was finishing up college. I have always enjoyed writing and wrote a few blogs previously, but always ended up losing focus and fading out. As I was finishing college I was feeling lost and losing direction in my life, so I started this blog. At first it was just a personal thing, but then I gained more confidence in my writing and wanted to post more universal things that others can relate to. Seeing how rewarding this has been for me so far is what gives me the motivation to keep on posting.

Advice for new bloggers…

1. Have confidence! Don’t be so scared or worried of what people will think of what you have to say. Have faith in your writing skills. Don’t be so hung up on perfection. If you believe in yourself then you can create amazingness!
2. Push your limits! Blogging is a free place with no rules. You can write whatever you want and choose whatever style you like. Do not keep yourself in a box. Focus on expansion.
