Egyptian Astrology | What’s Your Egyptian Zodiac Sign?

Egyptian Astrology is similar to (mainstream) Tropical or Vedic astrology, based on twelve different zodiac signs. However, they are based on specific gods and goddesses from ancient Egyptian mythology. Alongside, the date range is slightly different.


January 1–7, June 19–28, September 1–7, November 18–26

This is the only zodiac not based on a deity, but the great Nile River of Egypt. These are the peacekeepers of the zodiac. While they still have strong and passionate emotions, they are able to keep cool on the surface and avoid conflict. They are able to see both sides of the story. Adaptable, changeable, and fluid — they are multidimensional people who easily go with the flow. Highly intuitive, they have a strong sense of spirituality and connection to Source.


January 8–21, February 1–11

Amun-Ra is the sun god, one of the most powerful and influential gods of ancient Egypt. Those born under this zodiac are confident, born-leaders. Their presence is overpowering and demanding; they are impossible to ignore. But they are not attention-seekers — rather, they are respectable and dignified. They are highly aware of their appearance and how they present themselves to the world.


January 22–31, September 8–22

Mut is the mother goddess — kind, nurturing, and protective. Those born under this zodiac have strong maternal or paternal energy. These are very responsible people — may be the “mother” or the “father” of the friend group. They have a lot of empathy with an instinctive need to provide care and assistance for others. They are also wise and practical decision-makers.


February 12–29, August 20–31

Geb is the god who is Earth itself — a primordial deity. Those born under this zodiac can be very shy and humble, living in their minds and keeping to themselves. They tend to be on the quieter side. Highly sensitive, they take things to heart and care deeply. At the same time, they are grounded and practical, valuing routine, predictability, and stability.


March 1–10, November 27 – December 18

Osiris is the god of the Underworld — symbolizing death, rebirth, and darkness. Those born under this sign are intense and magnetic. They have transformative energy, constantly going through inner changes. At times, They may come across as overly aggressive and domineering. However these are very sweet people who have a lot of depth.

Thoth is the god of communication. Those born under this zodiac are very wise, with the ability to channel messages directly from Spirit. They are interested in learning things and sharing their knowledge with others. They may be writers, researchers, or speakers. Witty and intelligent, they like to talk to people about ideas and creative concepts.


April 20 – May 7, August 12–19

Horus is possibly the most significant god of Egyptian mythology, known as the royal god of kingship, son of Isis and Osiris. Anyone born under the sign is a great leader, destined for success. They are spiritually wealthy. Courageous and brave, they have a lot of determinism and many goals. These people have a great vision for the future.


May 8–27, June 29 – July 13

Anubis of the god of death, who guards over the passing of souls in the afterlife. Those born under this zodiac are benevolent people with a strong work ethic. They have a high moral compass. Highly introverted, they prefer to keep to themselves. They have an affinity towards the night. Alongside, these are incredibly creative and imaginative people.

Bastet is the “cat goddess” who represents pleasure and joy. People born within this zodiac are very fun to be around! They value comfort and coziness. Charming and affectionate, they get along easily with others, and people admire them for their optimistic attitudes. These people may be partiers, but they are also extremely sensitive.


July 29 – August 11, October 30 – November 7

Sekhmet is the goddess of war and healing. Those born under this zodiac are fierce and competitive, with a strong devotion for justice. Unafraid of conflict, they fight for what’s right. At the same time, these are also natural healers who value harmony. They have an understanding that there is no peace without war.
