On July 7th, Neptune goes retrograde until December. Neptune retrograde clears the illusions and brings us back to reality. It takes away the rose-colored glasses and allows us to see things for what they truly are. In turn, we go inwards to reflect on our own fantasies and dreams. And we can see what we truly desire rather than what the world wants us to desire.

Venus moves into Virgo on the 9th. From now until the rest of the month, we admire others in a more analytical and steady way. This can come in the form of gift-gifting or offering acts of labor and service for others. This placement is favorable for volunteer work. Also, with Virgo being ruled by the planet of communication, it also makes it easier for us to have thoughtful discussions with our partners or loved ones.

Going halfway into the month, comes the new moon in Cancer of the 14th. This puts us at the height of Cancer season. This energy is quiet, comfortable, and spiritual. It’s an ideal timing for staying home, going within, and doing spiritual rituals.

Finally, Cancer season comes to an end with the start of Leo season on the 22nd. Energy shifts into boldness, self-expression, and positivity. We become more in touch with our playful and childlike self. The following day, Mercury retrograde ends, which clears up communication and resolves technological issues. This may bring some form of announcement or important conversation.

Saturn retrograde begins on the 26th — lasting through December. And just like Neptune, Saturn is also currently in Aries. Saturn retrograde calls for us to turn within and assess our goals and responsibilities. Outside factors such as authority figures, rules, and structures can temporarily dissolve. We really have to be our own bosses during this time and follow our own guidelines.

At last, July closes out with the full moon in Aquarius on the 29th. This moon brings out a sense of community, friendship, and teamwork among our social circles. It also brings a dose of excitement and hopefulness towards the future. This is an excellent timing for letting go of the past and keeping your gaze forward.
