This is a super easy recipe that also happens to be healthy and vegan! Although you don’t have to be vegan to enjoy it — you can also make it non-vegan if you want!

Ingredients:
- 2 slices of bread
- Tomato sauce
- Nutritional yeast
- (optional) extra spices & toppings

Step 1:
Slather your bread with tomato sauce!

Step 2:
Sprinkle at least 1-2 tablespoons of nutritional yeast on top!
**Nutritional yeast comes with numerous health benefits and is filled with protein, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants! It makes a great cheese substitute because of its cheesy flavor!

Step 4:
Cook in the toaster oven for 5-10 minutes, or until desired crispness! For more flavor, finish off with herbs, spices, or other favorite toppings!
And there you have it! Super easy, super simple, super quick! Totally beats yet another microwave meal or frozen dish. And if you prefer, you can replace nutritional yeast with real cheese or preferred cheese alternative. Meat lovers can feel free to add pepperoni or anything else. Easy customizable.
Yummy, enjoy!
Seems like it’d be delish!

Have you tried making this with a wrap instead of bread? I used to make “flatbread” pizzas using a wrap/tortilla shell and add the fixings to that. Highly recommend!

Love it!! Have you ever tried it carb-less with tomatoes? I used to make “pizzas” like that with seasoning & cheese before I went vegan but you using nutritional yeast gave me an idea to try it that way instead! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks!!! I have not tried with tomatoes, that sounds like it would be much healthier! Good call! 😊
