Personal updates

New moon

Personal update…

So, it’s official: I’m moving to my own place in mid April. It’s been a process. Lots of paperwork, running errands, figuring things out, asking for help, etc… and worst of all, talking to strangers and getting over social anxiety. I thought I wasn’t strong enough; now I look back and realize it was a lot easier than I expected.

I’m taking some time for myself. I’ve never lived alone before, I’ve always had roommates. But I’ve heard it’s pretty awesome to be able to do your own thing. I really want to focus on myself, focus on my fitness and my spirituality.

Last night I chopped my hair and dyed it sunset orange. It’s shorter in the back and longer in the front. I’m not posting a photo because the color came out duller than I wanted. I also ordered this special necklace from Etsy to complete this look, and that won’t be here for another week or so.

I’m both scared and excited. I have a lot of hope for the future, even if things seem grey right now… ๐Ÿ–ค

  1. Good luck! I worked as a news reporter for several years with extreme social anxiety, if you can believe it. Having that job and the responsibilities that came with it forced me to interact with people, which was a good thing. Going out of your comfort zone will reap rewards.

    1. Thank you! Wow, good for you! ๐Ÿ˜„ it’s true, the best way to get out of your comfort zone is by force. It’s horrible at first and then it’s amazing.
